Nevertheless, apart from the technical aspects of the transfer procedure, there is always the creator's and producer's aesthetic approach that should be imprinted at the movie's screening. The ICON PLUS Ablest system provides many adjustable parameters that modify the final quality and the aesthetic feel of the transferred movie.

At ICON PLUS, we can carry out tests on your movie by transferring a selection of very short sequences from a master video to 35mm film. This selection of sequences should be chosen on the grounds of their diversity.

TESTS are carried out to help you decide the shooting video format that matches your movie's cinematographic aspects, or to help you decide which negative film to use for the movie's transfer to 35 mm film. These tests are carried out at the pre-production stage.

TESTS can also be carried out during the movie's post production period. These tests will help you decide on the best transfer approach achieved by ICON PLUS or even by competitive video to film transfer studios. Furthermore, these tests help us calibrate and adjust parameters in order to get the best possible transfer results.
