Significant Projects 2008-2009. Production (Script development, stereoscopic shooting, direction, post production) of the stereoscopic movie 'Reach into The Light' for the Cinema Museum of Thessaloniki. 2008-2009. Production of several documentaries and audiovisual works for several museums in Greece (Maronia, Folk and Ethnological Museum Of Macedonia - Thrace, 2007-2008. Production (Shooting, direction, post production) of a series of TVC spots for the company ALUMIL. The commercials were shot in Greece, Spain, Jordan, Bahrain and Ukraine. 2006-2007. Acquisition of the 4Ê Film Scanner Golden Eye (Sub-financed through the 3rd European Framework Programme. 2005. N-CODE, a new company for the production & post production of audiovisual projects is founded. Main subject: specialized sound surround services in many different sound formats (LCRS, 5.1, 7.1, up to 10.2) for almost any medium (35mm cinematic film – optical and digital sound and encodings to Dolby AC-3, DTS, MPEG, MPEG-2, SACD, DVD, DVD-Audio). 2005. Organisation and execution of a synchronized projection of 12 films on equivalent screens for the International (Expo) Trade Fair of Thessaloniki 2005. 2005. Organisation and execution (post production of image and sound) of a dome movie for the Center for dissemination of Sciences & the Technological Museum of Thessaloniki entitled ‘Places and People of Macedonia & Thrace’ (files for dome master: tga files 3600 X 3600 pixels, and synchronized Surround sound in 5.1). 2004. ICON PLUS develops the film project «Yiannis Hejaaz», a Docudrama taking place in Greece, between 1950 and the 70s, dealing with the ‘folk’ Greek music and rebetico. Two hour episodes for TV distribution as well as a re-cut version 90min (video to film transfer) for theatrical distribution. The project is financed by MEDIA PLUS, DEVELOPMENT of creative documentaries 2002 - 2003. Development of a proprietary system for transferring digital and analogue video (SD up to High definition) to 35mm cinema film. The system is called Ablest. The design is evaluated and found innovative by the Greek Ministry of Development and is subsidized through the PAVET – NE program. (Icon Plus pays 55 % or the sum of 63.761,72 € and The General Secretariat of Research and Technology of the Greek Ministry of Development sunsidises 45 % or the sum of 52.168,68 €. The project is fully implemented and there are now two identical systems fully operating in Icon Plus premises since July 2003. 2001. ICON PLUS finilises the development of the project, «City another view». Series of 12 half hour documentaries about the City of Thessaloniki. 1998. ICON developed project TIME 2000+, 60 animated shorts of 60 seconds each. A European Creators Project, 60 animators living and working in 12 different European Countries animate TIME 2000+ and the change of the Millennium.
